pranayama workshop

Pranayama is separate and distinct practice from asana that develops a steady mind, strong will-power and sound judgement. It is a continuation of the journey inward and works on the regulation of prana or vital energy throughout the body. You will learn the proper setup for a conscious breathing practice and several pranayama techniques will be explored.
Participants should refrain from eating a heavy meal two hours prior to class and you should not be overly caffeinated. Wear loose-fitting clothing and bring plenty of layers to stay warm.
